Mhairi had a sleepover on Friday with her friend Elena. It was a lovely evening so we took our canoe to the beach and had a wee paddle around for some fun sleepover memories. I hope word doesn't get round that that's the usual sleepover pattern now...otherwise there'll be a few unhappy girls!
Finlay decided to do some surfing too--water temperature 7 degrees.
He kept at it for about 45 minutes

That water looks beautiful. I love days when the ocean is like that. Finny is a real man for getting into that cold water. Finny, you're going to be sweating when you get into our 68 degree (fahrenheit) water. Can't wait to see you guys.
